When Does Right Stuf Anime Ship Pre-orders
Awaiting Fulfilled for over half-dozen months
I tried to telephone call the visitor because I ordered in Nov and now it is June. I was asking if they could just send out the items that were in stock for me but they refused. I besides tried to refund online but I couldn't. Its actually difficult for me to collect when i'chiliad missing over 10 volumes. Rightstuf, please send out what y'all can soon this was supposed to be a Christmas nowadays but it's already summer now.

I recently received a shipment of 16 volumes of manga and was very impressed by how well it was packaged! Everything was secured, and there were no bent corners or dented spines.
My order was placed in Oct and took almost seven months to send while waiting for all the volumes to come dorsum in stock, so I was pleased that information technology was all handled with care.
Top Notch Customer Service
I recently attended Anime Detour in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Right Stuf Anime had a booth at the convention with tons of trade, grab numberless, manga, figures, etc. I ended up purchasing a figure from their booth (paid in greenbacks). When I got dwelling house and opened the figure, I was disappointed to observe a few manufacturer defects. I contacted Right Stuf Anime support and explained my situation, noting I did not have a receipt of buy, every bit I paid in cash. Right Stuf back up was able to approve my story, and worked with me to go a replacement figure. Right Stuf emailed me a return characterization, I sent the effigy back, and as soon as the figure arrived at the render station, Correct Stuf shipped a replacement figure back to me with priority aircraft. The replacement effigy looks dandy and has no defects. I worked with Jake in customer back up. Jake was professional, responded chop-chop, and helped me resolve my consequence. First-class customer service. Give thanks you!
Never do business organization with Correct Stuf
I ordered 2 books, and when three weeks had passed I asked about my society. USPS tracking indicated information technology was delivered. Right Stuf customer 'service' said the order got rejected (these books are for one of my kids and then no, no they were non going to be rejected) and they returned $25 of a $42 club. Again I had to ask why and this time they told me they charged me for shipping both ways and a 15% restocking fee. And if I desire those books again, they said I can't get the original discount. I'll never order from then once again.
Worst online shopping experience I take ever had.
I am not 1 to write negative reviews, but this case is different. I ordered iv seasons of a particular series from this visitor and some of the listed seasons were out of stock. No big bargain, I can wait for the other seasons to come up afterward they got more in stock. I had to submit a request for refund after 41 days of waiting and 2 inquiries into why they could not transport the part of my order they had in stock to go an answer that read to me like "partial orders volition be filled and sent if and when we feel like it." I have never ordered multiple items from any site with some of the items being out of stock to be told I will non recieve any of my order until all of the items in questions are available inventory. It is a shame that the customer service is so terrible, as I would accept used this website to purchase a plethora of anime paraphernalia had they been a touch better about trying to keep customers.

I always go to them first for my anime needs. After buying many products from them I feel compelled to leave this review. They have a great selection and volition often accept competitive pricing as well. Their shipping is prompt and they always make sure the packaging will protect the products. I've had zip but great experiences!
I've had nothing but great experiences with rightstufanime and I've been using them for about 8 years! Club processing tin accept a while at the moment but, c'mon, we're literally in the centre of a pandemic which is messing up working hours, supply chains, aircraft times, etc and they have a disclaimer almost that on their site.
Equally for their customer service department? They're wonderful! I had a misprinted volume arrive and they sent me a new one immediately, free of toll, and didn't make me go through the carp of shipping the funky one back. The few times I've checked on an order or requested an item exist cancelled, they responded quickly and without result.

Super slow processing, fifty-fifty for unstick items. Some books arrived damaged, I had to pay return shipping.

Ordered a package on October 21st and it was supposed to come up on Nov 8th and it never came. It is already November 29th

Favorite good'south website. Packaging always above and beyond for product safety during shipping. Far surpasses whatever other site I've used for books. No more than worrying about bent/lightly torn pages.
Horrible Customer Service + Awful Visitor
Absolutely awful visitor. I used to order a few items hither and there when I saw they were selling something I wanted.. all the same at present I will go out of my fashion to avoid this horrible company. I preordered a figure years prior to me moving states. As any normal person, I don't focus religiously on when this specific figure would release, simply I did anticipate an email possibly warning me earlier the effigy would be released. I acquired no email or reminder and wasn't informed of information technology being sent/shipped out until it was already in "Transit." I tried to immediately contact Rightstuf to correct the address and was told that they couldn't do anything. I then turned to Fedex to attempt to take them reroute the package, yet I was informed past Fedex that I have no rights to my own package and that Rightstuf would have to telephone call them and change the accost. I once more reached out to Rightstuf to try to rectify the situation, notwithstanding my cased was immediately airtight and I was told that this whole thing was on Fedex. (Pointing fingers - real classy Rightstuf) I then went on to once more talk to Fedex managers etc, again I was told I have no control over the parcel even though I'grand the receipant and that Rightstuf would take to call them to correct the situation - when I contacted Rightstuf once more they IMMEDIATELY closed my example and stated they can't do anything and that Fedex was lying. They didn't even try to talk to Fedex or help me in any way. I eventually chosen Customer Service to endeavour to talk with someone over the phone then that maybe they could phone call fedex right then and aid me Merely NOPE. I was scolded past their representative stating "I should have been an adult and updated my address." I asked why I didn't receive a forewarning email like I receive from Goodsmile, 1999Hobby etc. and he kept on maxim this was my fault and that they would practice nothing to help me. I've never been treated so poorly by a visitor or their customer service. I will now become out of my way to tell people to not store with them or bargain with them in any mode. At this point I'd rather pay more from some other website just and then I tin take reliable customer service and reliable transparency. It's embarrassing seeing all the other reviews and how people are complaining about like things - I think Rightstuf should put more effort into making their customers happy and owning upwards to their screw up'due south then arguing with customers on this website. Get amend Rightstuf - yous're an embarrassment of an anime company.

I accept been using this visitor for over x years, but this past Christmas and social club I received was lost. They wanted me to make full out a physical claim class and mail information technology in - no email - and I let them know that due to covid I did not have admission to a printer so it would take time until I could access one (I usually went to the library just they were airtight in my area at the fourth dimension due to covid) but I did go information technology done a few months afterward.
They never responded to my get-go notice about the filibuster, and afterward many more months I finally gave them a call. They claimed the never received the course and since so much fourth dimension had passed they could no longer do anything for me - meaning they wanted to keep my $121.09 and not give me anything.
They never mentioned anything nearly a fourth dimension limit for returning forms and took no consideration for delays due to covid (tho their own website even even told customers their shipments could be later due to covid).
I used paypal so I am submitting a fraud claim, but even if I get this resolved I don't see myself using this company anymore. I could accept accepted not getting the items, I can't accept them just taking my money. Expert buy right stuf.

Lying virtually pre-orders
Super disappointed in these guys. I pre-ordered a manga, Metamorphosis by Shindo-Fifty. They said it would restock on the 15th of August. I specifically e-mailed them BEFOREHAND request if they were sure they'd get enough stock to fulfill the pre-orders, and they bodacious me they practise Non oversell their pre-orders. At present a calendar month later information technology nonetheless has non been shipped, and they told me they didn't have plenty stock and don't have an ETA when I'll really get my society. They didn't even apologise or wrote anything other than an automated electronic mail. So abrasive and disappointing, never buying annihilation here again
EDIT: Can you employ your energy that you take to answer to all the negative reviews here being defensive as hell and work on your actual back up? You don't retrieve saying "We are not at the cutoff for pre-orders yet" is the same equally saying yous're not overselling/take enough stock incoming to fulfill it at the promised engagement? Yous say you lot can't give an ETA only you *did*. You set an arrival date on 15th of August, where pre-orders would be fulfilled. Then you didn't. That said, I just got an e-mail that it's back in stock and I see information technology is purchaseable on the site at present. I hope to god this means you're shipping out all the pre-orders now and aren't selling it WHILE we're waiting for pre-orders. The fact that you respond passive aggressively implying you're "sorry" I "misinterpreted" information technology is but ugh.
Once I receive the manga I'll update my review but for now I am cautiously waiting considering your handling of this makes me concerned.

But oh my god whatsoever warehouse at that place aircraft from it takes ages. Spice & Wolf Light Novel Series
I ordered four books of a lite novel series. Book one and 3 had noticeable damage around the edges, corners and acme of the pages, whereas books 2 and iv came in pretty good conditions. They were all together so I don't understand how just two books got damaged... Everything else most the order process was bully, only stuck with half my books having damage to them. I simply like my books being in near perfect condition on afterward I've read them, so kind of a bummer, but oh well. If y'all don't mind this gamble with any books you lot gild, and so I'd recommend ordering from here.
No longer the Right Stuff
I used to buy my anime VHS tapes from this site, that'southward how long I've been a dedicated client. I've but ever had 1 problem with shipping, when a Tenchi Universe box set I bought never arrived. Customer service had a replacement shipped out and at my doorstep within a week. Sadly the peachy company that existed back then is no more.
I placed a recent order for my husband'south altogether. I got concerned when the tracking information hadn't updated for v weeks. I first tried contacting them through their route app. Merits instantly denied for being over 30 days one-time. Reached out to their customer service website, was sent a claim form with instructions to 1. Commencement file a claim with USPS, then once their investigation was over, ii. attach it to their merits form, which requests LEGAL consent and wait for their investigation to commence. Needless to say I didn't want to wait another 2-6 months for a replacement or refund. Luckily I apply PayPal for most of online purchases so I accept some buyer protection.
But like similar reviews as soon every bit PayPal found in my favor, RightStuf quickly moved to ban my account. If but they showed as much enthusiasm in helping their customers? I'm fine saying adieu with ZERO regrets. No sense supporting a business that doesn't be anymore. I'll miss you RightStuf for what you lot were but certainly not what you are now. Great customer service is at the heart of customer loyalty but clearly you lot no longer care.

i love this visitor. the customer support is the Simply support service ive had no problem with and has been nothing but helpful to me. their packaging is amazing and i have no bug with them. the only affair wrong with rightstuf is that they dont have release dates xc% of the time.
